Voice & body
Tuesday, October 27th, 2009We have spent the whole day working with rhetorics. It was very different from everything else we have done so far, but it was really interesting. We read stories to each other and learned how to use our voices right by controlling power and articulation. Reading something to other people is actually more difficult than it seems.

Thursday, October 22nd, 2009Today we learned about personas and worked in the design lab.
Lene Nielsen was there to tell us about all the work she has done with personas in different companies, and after her lecture it was our turn to make up stories about people from our target group.
Blog presentation
Tuesday, October 20th, 2009I have chosen to make this presentation in Flash as I wanted something different. Not just another screencast. Instead of a voice-over I have added music to emphasize the image and expression. The video gives an overview of my process and layout. I was inspired by this music video.

Hybrid
Tuesday, October 13th, 2009Sometimes you can get stuck in the process of creating something, but fortunately there are different tools you can use to generate new ideas. We tried out one of these tools some days ago in class.
The three words on the left are words I picked, because I think they describe me. (patient, music interested, creative).
The words on the top row are words describing the way I want my blog to come out. (different, logical, graphical).
The pictures on the right were random pictures I found in a news paper.
The words in the bottom row are random words one of my fellow students found for me. (Copenhagen, obvious, accentuated)
The idea is to put words in the fields in the middle, that comes to your mind when you combine four things (three words and one image). Example: By combining the words creative, obvious and logical with the picture of the old lady with the hat, the words intuitive and user friendliness came to my mind. The new words I come up with are then going to help me in the further process.

This is a wireframe showing my home page. As you can see, it is very simple. Widget 1 is the categories, widget 2 is the archive, and widget 3 is my tag cloud.
